The New Chapter of Life

This little post has been in my drafts since May of 2014. I am finally getting around to adding back in the images which were lost once the Posterous site went down. The Knights and Princesses stories must continue and be of value to all shiny eyed people remembering these days of yonder past.

Back May 2014 sometime. . . ago.
We are in a new phase of life and many things have changed. Our little people are not so little any longer. They are dancing and have tried out for a play for this Summer among other things.
I noticed my images which were posted via Posterous are now links to their site just saying that the site is closed. I will need to find the images and reconnect them.
We have a garden planted and hope it will do better than last year. =) We have had a few thunderstorms to help with watering etc. ;)
I have a video project needing to be finished before June because there will be another one then to be finished as well. I will also be videotaping Graduation too. Oh my!
We are also trying to graduate to a smart phone using Android. This is the one we will test out.

Daddy Close Your Eyes

The little princess in our family led me by the hand saying, " Daddy close your eyes and come see what I made." I followed peeking just enough to make sure I wouldn't run into a wall or step on a Lego brick. Once we reached the "studio" I was allowed to really see. "Daddy! I made our Church out of blocks!" she beamed. "And look! There is our green car" (It just so happened to be the fisher price forklift). She was all smiles at her creation. Children are wonderful.

Our Fireworks

It has been extremely dry here and so instead of having regular fireworks we had a wet fireworks display. We shot them towards a barrel and then some of the kids were hoping to be drenched as well.

Father & Sons Campout

We had a very nice time camping at the Father & Sons campout. I just wish it were closer than two hours away and that we had another "Father & Son" from our ward go. Nevertheless the boys enjoyed themselves. We wish we had our swimming trunks too. However, we were able to throw hatchets and knives. =)

Spring and Greeness

Ah the beauty of God's creations. This is a wonderful view which I love to stare at no matter the season. We started our garden officially yesterday and hope to have a great harvest this year. The peas are growing quite well already. We transplanted them first in our raised beds and set out the water lines.

Pinewood Derby time

I definitely had something a bit different in mind for the shape of the car, but I still like it.
It has yet to have more sanding and painting and more importantly little knight likes it. He has shown it to the rest of the court. We will have fun.
