Little-known facts

"Did you know that when you put a shop vac up to your hair that it will suck the sweat off when you're hot?"
And another little tidbit:

And it came to pass . . .

And it came to pass that the little knight was in a body of water as cold as a river and went under completely immersed before the King brought him forth. yes, it is true and there were witnesses of the event. It is all the in-before and in-betweens of the moment which bring me to the thoughts of "And it came to pass. . . " which probably cover up all the frustrations and troubles, inconveniences and other problems.
It reminds me of Gandalf when Frodo asks him why they didn't meet up at the Prancing Pony. He doesn't say anything but the emotions of the happenings are on his face and he says, "I was delayed" and then you see the real terrible and awful things through which he went. And it came to pass . . . seems to cover that kind of stuff.
So our little adventures which happened amongst the words of "And . . . it . . . came . . . to . . . pass. . . "
So the Queen, had forgotten something at the castle which was pertinent to the big event, yet had left the lights on her carriage. So when she wanted to leave she couldn't. So I connected the two vehicles and gave it a kick and jump-started the buggy. Well, the Queen fearing she might not return for some reason mentioned before she left, "If I don't return, please come after me to find me . . ."
Well, my thoughts were elsewhere as the pool of water needed to be filled during the last hour of our 3 hour block as to be ready shortly thereafter. I turned the lever marked "hot" yet as the pool started to fill up there was no hot water to be found. I quickly found the counselor who knew more about the hot water heaters than I. Yet even after our much toiling we could not force either of the two hot water heaters to create any heat. So we were forced to fill the pool up knowing it wouldn't be much better than just plain cold.
Now back to seeing if the Queen had arrived. As the time grew nearer to have her return and not seeing her in the Primary room. I quickly asked people if they had seen her. "No." I also checked the place where she had parked before. . . No car. Well, we I was bound and determined to press forward. I followed my last instructions and headed out as quickly as possible in my own carriage. Thinking thoughts of ridiculous proportions. Looking left and right along the road to see if the Queen's carriage had a place along the roadside. It wasn't until I had nearly reached my own castle before I could stop and actually listen to what was being whispered in my ear. "You should have checked the other side of the building. She probably parked over there." Needless to say there was no one at the castle.
The communication lines were down between me and my beloved. She didn't think to come find me when she arrived safely and I didn't think to drive quickly once around the building to see if she had for some reason decided to park on the other side of the building. (She had never done this before, yet the kitchen for refreshments was on the opposite side and that is what she went home to get. So it could be plausible. . .)
I arrived quickly and safely back to the building. I changed into my knightly white clothes and explained to the little knight that the pool was going to be extremely cold. Boy, was it cold. Yet we pressed forward and finished our goal.
The Little Knight and the King
So, that is my "And it came to pass" "moment" and yes, we had an enjoyable time and all went well. =)
